Our culture has gifted us with many ancient sciences that have the power to strike a certain balance with Nature, like Feng Shui and Vaastu Shastra. Many executives, industrialists, students and house wives too seek the guidance of these sciences. Yes, it is true! Many educated prefer going to an expert to solve their problems and keep themselves away from the negative energies. Minal Apte, a media professional, shares her experience by saying that her office structure according to a Feng Shui expert is totally wronged and that has made everyone insecure about their jobs. She says, ”Due to some architectural defects in our office, negative energies in two of our cubicles result in unstable jobs. And, because of that they get transferred every six months.” What exactly defines a wrong office structure? “ For instance, the two cubicles have many things broken and the main hindrance is the black color, which is supposed to be destructive and is all over the premises. Secondly, computers are not facing the proper direction . Thirdly, some of the desks and cupboards are broken, which is the cause of negativity in the arena,” she explains.

According to Chinese science, what can be the remedy? Says Arun Jugdar, a Feng Shui expert, “ Feng Shui is all about balancing. There are certain unseen energies, good and bad. Nature has given us a shaastra to maintain a balance between your life and the energies.” He adds, “ Most people do not want to risk their careers, so they take precaution to maintain stability at work.

Industrialists, students, professionals come to me for solutions.” But how can one make out that his or hers job is unstable? He explains, From Feng Shui point of view, if there is no support behind your chair in your office, then it suggests that your job is in danger. For this, you have to change the position of your chair or build a wall behind your desk.”

Shobha Malhotra, an architect, reveals, I always consult a Vaastu Shastra expert before starting my projects. As after the construction, the builders can’t risk to break the whole building, if he experiences any evil spirit or feels that the place is haunted. So, precautionary measures are very necessary. And today, none of my clients have experienced any negativity in their buildings and offices.” Says Sanjay Mahashabde, architect and Vaastu consultant , “ Vaastu Shastra helps us keep away negativity from our lives. People come to me for a good fortune, a stable career and also to gain profitability in their business.”

Different colour plays different role in Vaastu? “ Color is a very important element. It depends on many things, like the directions of the chairs, computers, the pillars, the walls etc.” He narrates, One of my client is a jeweler. The jewellery shop had all the gadgets, but he faced drastic loss and all the gadgets had some or the other problem. There was a problem in the south direction of his shop, but now it has been solved.”
